YouTube Tips & Tricks – Video Player Shortcuts

You may not know that YouTube’s embedded player supports keyboard shortcuts. You can use various keyboard shortcut to control player functions. Here are list of keyboard shortcut available with YouTube player.

TAB Key – Allow you to move from one control to another in left to right order. Press Enter key to activate control when control have focus.

SPACE Key – Pause and Resume video playback.

Right Arrow Key – Fast Forward 5 seconds

Left Arrow Key –  Replay/backward 5 seconds

Up and Down Keys –  Adjust volume level

Home Key – Seek to the beginning

End Key – Seek to the end of the video

Numbers 1 to 9 Keys – Seek to the 10% to 90% of the video

Number 0 key – Seek to the beginning of the video
